Filimon Alvarez, Assoc. AIA

Filimon Alvarez is a graduate from the Master of Architecture Program at the University of Colorado, Denver. There Filimon participated in the award-winning Colorado Building Workshop Design-Build program. While working with CBW, he completed projects in rural New Mexico, Cottonwood Gulch Cabins. He was also the graduate recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Medal for the College of Architecture and planning. As an immigrant from Mexico and former United States Marine, he brings a unique perspective and core values that he implements into the practice architecture. Filimon is passionate on sustainability and how good design can enhance the experience of learning in educational projects.
