Stanley OPENair Academy Early Childhood Education
Stanley OPENair Academy
The new OPENair Academy at the Stanley Marketplace completed construction in November 2016. This early childhood education center will serve close to 100 students ages six weeks to five years. OAA is a Reggio Emilia inspired program providing a child-centric approach to learning. The founders of the school, Heather Eversley and Ken Clifton, are ardent believers in an evidence based approach to design, and along with Alan Ford, have hosted an annual international conference promoting best practices in designing early childhood education facilities. Stanley Marketplace is a former aviation building that’s being transformed into a food-centric, community inspired hub on the border of Aurora and Central Park. Opening in 2016, Stanley will include a beer hall, multiple restaurants, a fitness center and yoga studio, office space, an events center, and numerous retail options.
