McElwain Elementary School
McElwain Elementary School
The school design utilizes high-performance glazing with natural daylighting in every classroom. It also creates a new sense of entry for the school, and enriches the architectural street presence. The renovation helps to enhance the architecture, while integrating with the existing building. The project won the 2004 Gold Hart Hat Award; Bronze, Outstanding Restoration/Renovation.
