Fort Lupton District Wide School Improvement Project
Fort Lupton District Wide School Improvement Project
A campus plan was completed for the Fort Lupton Schools, which included additions and renovations at two elementary schools, the middle school and high school. The work was completed under the scope of the 2001 bond issue. Masonry materials and detailing throughout helped to unify the campus, while the architecture was used to define the exterior spaces. A gymnasium was added to an elementary school to accommodate elementary, high school and community activities. An added feature in all of the new spaces was the use of daylight harvesting. The project won the 2003 Gold Hart Hat Award; Gold, Outstanding Masonry Project
